During his stay in Debrecen, Helmut Flacheneker, professor doctor honoris causa of the University of Debrecen, not only gave lectures but also had the opportunity to explore a slice of Hungarian history and cultural heritage.
The professor from Würzburg visited the historic walls of Boldogkő Castle and gained an insight into the traditions of Hungarian wine culture in Tokaj, one of the world’s most famous historic wine regions.
