The renowned scholar of European history delivered a lecture titled “Reconciling Michiel de Ruyter, the Hungarians and the English,” hosted by the Department of Dutch Studies.

This time he delivered a lecture titled “On the Problem of Drunkenness in Late-Seventeenth-Century Debrecen,” in which he examined a specific issue in the everyday life of early modern urban society.
